Please come and meet the animals that provide us our products and learn how our crew at the Moeller Family Farm cares for them. Springtime is an amazing time for growth in knowledge and a time when new babies arrive on the farm. Please stay tuned for a "Family Day" event at the farm coming in the Spring!
Planting Fun
God has given us a wonderful way to provide for ourselves. The family at the Moeller Family Farm plants gardens in three stages. We start by preparing the ground in early Spring, then plant for a Summer garden, and end with a garden for the Fall plants. Each garden is important to feed us, our community, and our animals. This is something we enjoy and would love to share with anyone that would want to learn or even help. There is an amazing sense of balance and peace when people work together or even alone in the dirt and also with animals. This is something we would love to share with you! Canning and Preserving
Have you ever wanted to learn how to preserve your own food for your family? Did you know that it can be easy and possible to can, freeze, dry, or smoke your own food? During the Summer when gardens on the Moeller Family Farm are ready to harvest, we will be teaching how to do these things as we preserve our own food. There is no better way than to learn "hands on". These sessions will be offered for two to four people at a time. We will have jellies and jams, salsas, soups, veggies, and meats for the canning classes. Please let us know what you want to learn so we can add you to our calendar.
